Richard Thomas Tracy passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of over 65 years to June Radosti Tracy. Son of the late James Joseph Tracy and Marie Doretta Coogan Tracy. Loving father of Richard T. Tracy Jr. Father in law of Terri Tracy. Brother of John E. Tracy and the late James J. Tracy, Eileen R. Waterman, Harry T. Tracy, Robert K. Tracy, Patricia Todaro and Marie Reilly. Grandfather of Richard T. Tracy III and Gregory M. Tracy. Great-grandfather of Hunter Tracy and Mia Tracy. Mr. Tracy graduated from Jesuit High School. He retired as a Colonel in the United States National Guard Army Reserve. He was a supervisor at Texaco Incorporated and also was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
