Paul M. Gagnet, Sr. “Uncle Paul” passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 74. He was born on July 14, 1948 in New Orleans and attended St. Aloysius and LSUNO. He served in the U.S. Navy and had a life long career in freight transportation. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. He is preceded in death by his parents, George P. Gagnet, Jr. and Beverly M. Landry; and his brother, George P. Gagnet, III. He is survived by daughter, Ashley Morgan (Michael); sons, Paul M. Gagnet, Jr. (Amy) and Patrick Gagnet (Krista); sister, Beverly Morgan; brother, Philip Gagnet; and grandchildren, Myles, Madison, Greyson, and Weston.
A visitation will be held at St. Angela Merici Church at 901 Beverly Garden Drive in Metairie, LA, on Thursday, October 20th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., directly followed by a 12:00 p.m. mass. Interment is to take place at the family’s tomb in Metairie Cemetery.
