Patricia Fontenot Usprich returned to the Lord on Friday, June 16, 2017 at the age of 71. Loving mother of Paul Usprich (Becky) and Chere Usprich Schurba (Charles). Grandmother of John Philip St. Cyr. Sister of David Long (Millie), Ira Fontenot (Cherrymae), and Michael Long (Mary). Daughter of the late Orise Fontenot and Essie Long. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Myrtle Breaux, and nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her husband, Ron. She was preceded in death by her lifelong love, Jack Usprich.
Patricia will always be remembered as “Maw Maw Pat” to many children. She was the former co-director of People of God’s Grace Covenant Community in Metairie.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM.
