Patricia Lowery Hanemann died on Monday, May 18, 2015. She was 79 years old, born on September 25, 1935. She was the loving mother of Robin Hanemann (Cynthia), Ryan Hanemann (Missy), and Regmar Hanemann (Lourdes) and the beloved grandmother of Rachel, Renee, Lucy, Rex, Lourdes, Josephine, and Arden Hanemann.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Josephine Lowery; and her sisters-in-law, Arden and Errelle Hanemann.
Patricia was a teacher, counselor, and administrator in the Jefferson and Orleans Parish School Systems for over 40 years. She was a proud member of the Metairie Women’s Club and Delta Zeta Sorority at L.S.U.
She was far from subtle and made a lasting impression on all who met her.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Hope Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Metairie Women’s Club.
