Patricia Taggart Fisher died on November 11, 2017 at her home in Metairie. Patricia was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 8, 1931. She was a teacher of reading and was an avid reader. She held a Masters Degree in Diagnostic Reading from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio. Patricia enjoyed time with family and friends, cats, tennis and her former home in Florida. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Dr. and Mrs. Wallace B. Taggart and her brothers Charles and Wallace Jr. She is survived by her beloved daughters Melissa Fanning (John) of Jefferson and Elizabeth Grilli (Dave) of Harpersville, AL; grandchildren, Brooke Duncan IV of Jefferson, David Grilli of New York and Katherine Grilli (Asher) of Atlanta and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would especially like to thank the staff at Beau Maison Home led by Miss Eva and Patricia’s dedicated RN Julie for their attentive and compassionate service. Services for Patricia will be private.
