Patricia Parsells Dodd passed away peacefully at a New Orleans Hospice on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of 38 years to William G. Dodd, sister to Grace Parsells of East Orange , N. J., and Robert Parsells of Princeton, N. J.
Retired after 35 years from East Orange Public School District where she was supervisor of 12 school libraries. She later taught future teachers at Montclair University. She held a B.A. from Blackburn College in Illinois and a M. A. from Rutgers University. She enjoyed each summer at the Jersey Shore and every winter in New Orleans.
A private service was held in New Orleans. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in West Orange, Arrangements under the direction of Schoen Funeral Home, New Orleans, LA.
