Numa K. David passed away at the age of 89 on January 7, 2023. He was born on December 22, 1933 to the late Lodias David and Daisey Trosclair David in New Orleans. After completing his education, he worked as a draftsman and served in the U.S. Airforce. He was a parishioner of St. Angela Merici Church. His passions were building radio-controlled airplanes and WWI replicas, travelling with his wife, Phyllis, bowling, and square-dancing at sunrise. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Astelle Barras, Heloise David Broussard, and Lillian Numan Arnold. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis P. David; his sister, Verna David King Martinez; and many of his nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16th, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, 70121. An 11:00 a.m. service will immediately follow visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend, with warm invitations extended to any prior co-workers from Chevron and Dunbar and associates.
