Nancy C. McCann

Nancy Clair McCann, 62, entered into eternal rest on December 20, 2016 surrounded by her loving family after fighting a courageous battle. She graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School and was a hair dresser for

over 40 years. Nancy made everything fun and her patented greeting of “Hey

Baby!” will be forever etched in our minds.

Daughter of Thomas “Mickey” McCann, Jr. and the late Lucille Mire McCann. Survived by siblings Kathleen McCann LaBruyere (Donald), Father Thomas McCann, III, Patrick McCann (Celeste) and Julie McCann Mathes. Nieces: Celeste LaBruyere, Lindsay LaBruyere, Mallory McCann, Allison McCann and Kayla Mathes. She is also survived by Aunts, Cousins and Friends. Nancy will be missed by all.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father Tom McCann, at Lakelawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Monday, December 26th. Visitation to begin at 11am, Mass will begin at 1pm, internment will follow. Donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the MS Society.
