He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon B. Schiro and his brother, Joseph J. Schiro.
Michael is survived by his two sons, Michael A. Schiro, Jr. (Nha) and Matthew J. Schiro (Sarah); his grandchildren, Julian Fisher, Jonah Schiro, and Luke Schiro; his brother, Gasper J. Schiro (Romelia); and his sister-in-law, Cheryl T. Schiro.
Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 3368 Esplanade Ave., New Orleans, LA 70119, on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow mass at Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
