Michael M. Power, Jr. passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Ellen Power. Father of Michael M. Power III (Denise), and Tammy Power Liuzza (Nicholas). Grandfather of Brandi and Kelly. Great grandfather of Mikey Kow. Brother of Erin Livermore. Also survived by his canine companion Sandy.
Mike was retired from the Illinois Central Railroad where he had worked for 42 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM.
