Maureen Shepard O'Malley

Maureen Shepard O’Malley passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the age of 83. Preceded in death by her husband of over 56 years Richard V. O’Malley, Sr. She is survived by her children Richard V., Jr., Colleen O’Malley Brodt, Edward M. (Geralyn), Steven C. (Veronica) and Andrew B. (Mary) and grandchildren Nicole O’Malley, Ryan O’Malley (Elizabeth), Michael Brodt, Christopher Brodt, John Brodt, Lauren O’Malley and Nicholas O’Malley.

Maureen was the daughter of the late Edward W. Shepard and Rhea Delano Shepard and sister to Colleen S. Sadak (John). She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and a resident of Kenner for well over 50 years. Mom greeted everyone with a beautiful smile and never spoke an unkind word of anyone. She will be greatly missed. “Hi Ho Mom!”. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Maureen at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 1 pm.
