Mary Conchetta Viola Jones Latour

Mary "Chetta" Conchetta Viola Jones Latour passed away on May 28, 2018 at the age of 97. Wife of the late Raphael J. Jones, Jr. and the late Albert F. Latour; daughter of the late Frank and Anna Campora Viola; sister of the late Francis X. Viola; mother of the late Raphael J. Jones, III. She is survived by her daughter, Gayle A. Jones; children, Anev L. Singleton and Albert B. Latour, Sr.; grandchildren, Carey Caye (Duane), Cady Mandella (Ricky), Heather Oubre (Dustin), Pam and Albert B., Jr.; great-grandchildren, Chase Michael, Madeline Rose and Anna Catherine; niece, Anne Cigali (Anthony J.); nephew, Frank Viola, II (Kim); great niece, Elizabeth Manshel (Laurence), Andree Pierce (Kevin), Ashley Tyler (Henry), Alexandra Viola and Alana Viola; G.G. to Margaret Rose, Andrew Jules, Anna Grace, Preston, Charlotte, Matthew and William; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mary was a graduate of Eleanor McMain High School and a charter member of Krewe of Pandora. She loved to travel and dance and she belonged to many dance organizations. Mostly, she loved dining out with family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2pm with public visitation from 12pm until service time. Interment will follow the service at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
