Mary Langridge Grant

Mary Langridge Grant died October 19, 2016 at the age of 73 years old after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine Angousset Langridge and Robert Langridge, and Uncles John and William Angousset. Beloved mother of her three children, Robert Grant (Stacie), Laura Grant Sillars (John), and Scott Grant (Heather). Her four grandchildren Catherine, Caroline, Emma and Rhys were her pride and joy. Spending time with her family is what she enjoyed the most. She was a life-long resident of Gretna. She retired after 35 years as a court reporter for the Jefferson Parish 1st and 2nd District Courts. Mary was a parishioner at St. Patrick’s Church, 724 Camp St. in New Orleans, where a mass will be held on Friday, October 21st at 2pm. Visitation will begin at 1pm. Interment will be at Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory can be made to Ochsner Clinic Foundation (Gyn-Onc Fund).
