I, unfortunately, did not hear about this until after the funeral services.  I enjoyed working and talking with Mark.  He was truly an inspiration.  My sympathies go out to his family at this difficult time.  Emma Gail Foster

  Just got word of this today.  Mark was a good person and co-worker, always enjoyed talking to Mark and working with him over the years.  He will be missed by many.  Sad I missed the funeral.

 Mark was an extremely conscientious, talented and devoted team mate who was revered by all. Most impressive was his truly heroic efforts put forth in continuing to work and even just commute through his many health issues. None of us will see anyone put forth a more impressive commitment and desire to fight through the pain and challenge. It was truly inspiring.

Mark was a friend and co-worker.  My prayers are for peace for his family in this difficult time.

Mark was phenomenally intelligent and incredibly generous. I was blessed by his friendship for many years; he helped me through, calculus, physics, and most of all, social consciousness.  He should be immediately declared the patron saint of math, science, and social responsibility.  In that light, perhaps he was not in a class by himself, but it wouldn't take long to call the roll.  God bless his holy soul, and condolences to the family.

I was sorry to hear that Mark had passed.  He was a close friend and coworker, a devout Catholic who's faith was a constant source of inspiration for me.  I will miss him very much; his humor, his intelligence, his spirit, and most of all his friendship.  I pray that he is at peace and is experiencing the joys of being with our Lord in Heaven.  May the Lord bless you, and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you.  May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace!  Godspeed, my friend!

Mark was a friend as well as a long-time co-worker.  His knowledge of the technical side of computer science made him a valuable asset whose abilities will be missed.  His attitude of helpfulness and cheerful sharing of his knowledge with all who asked will be missed even more.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you mourn the loss of Mark.  I will always remember Mark and his quick wit and wonderful smile.

Mark was my good friend as a boy - we enjoyed Otis Redding and the Monkees' records together. He had a German Schnauzer and we always had discussions about cosmetically altering the breed so it would look a certain way. He was my good friend then, and I think he liked the fact that I had 7 brothers and sisters as he was an only child. We lost track because we went to different high schools. I am sorry to hear of his passing, and wish there was more information in his obituary about his last 40+ years.

Heaven choir has gained a lovely tenor voice. I'm so thankful to have been able to sing with Mark and enjoy the gift of his voice for many years at St. Edwards..he will be sorely missed. Karen, you,Teri, Kyle, and Connor will be in my prayers. I'm so sorry for your loss...our loss too...
