Marilyn McQueen Volk passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at the age of 66. She was the beloved wife of Edward M. Volk, Jr, the mother of Hollie Volk Thibodaux, mother-in-law of Bernard Thibodaux, and grandmother of Jordan C., Jarod M., and Jacob R. Thibodaux. She is also survived by her sisters, Elisa McQueen Morvant and Norma McQueen Pond, and her brother, Raymond J. McQueen, Jr, as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Divine Providence Church, 1000 N. Starrett Rd., Metairie, LA on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 11:30 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
