Marilyn Schellang Lally

Marilyn Schellang Lally passed away at her home in Mandeville on Friday, December 25, 2020. She was 76 years of age. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Joseph Shellang, Jr. and Marion Rosalee Herbert–Schellang, and her brother Frank Joseph Schellang, III.

Marilyn was the beloved wife for 59 years of Roy Valentine Lally, Jr.; loving sister of Larry D. Schellang Sr.; loving mother of Marilyn F. Lally–Franicevich, Bonnie Lally–Lewis (Troy), and Roy V. Lally, III (Emanuela); grandmother of Melinda L. Lally, Roy V. Lally, IV, Rebecca Matherne–Lacoste, Katie N. Lewis, Joseph B. Lally, and Madison G. Matherne; and great-grandmother of Roy V. Lally, V, Ryder M. Lally, and Kaida R. Lacoste.

She loved and dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed family vacations, holidays and the Waveland beach house with everyone. With her big heart filled with life, love and laughter, she will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville, Louisiana.

A private service will be held for the immediate family.
