Marilyn Gaiennie Garon

Marilyn Gaiennie Garon passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 89. She was the loving wife of Joseph D. Garon for 69 years. She was a caring mother to 8 children, Kenny Garon(the late Debbie), Donald Garon (Debbie), Pam Luman (the late Ron), David Garon (Anita), Beth Bares (Barry), Jennifer Nelson (Paul), Missy Blitch (Jim) and the late Philip Garon. She was a devoted Granny to 28 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma Gaiennie, her six siblings and one granddaughter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who knew her best as Aunt Bee Bee. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church and Shrine, 3601 Transcontinental Dr. Metairie, LA 70006, on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00AM. A private interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery in Saint Benedict, LA.
