Marie Angela Moynan Bose Baker

Angela Moynan Bose Baker, age 96, entered into eternal rest on December 8th, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Fred M. Baker, Jr. and ex-wife of Robert N. Bose. Mother of Marian Bose Tuck, Dorothy Bose Hamilton Sleezer Bosco, Susan Bose Murray and the late Alan R. Bose; Mother-in-law of Marcia Harris Bose; Grandmother of Landric A. Bose and Maria Hamilton Broce; Great Grandmother of Alyssa Broce and Johnny Broce; Step-mother of Michael Baker, Thomas Baker and the late Emilie “Jean” Baker Carney. Sister of the late David A. Moynan, Jr. (wife Betty): Aunt of Nancy Moynan, David A. Moynan III and the late Wesley R. Moynan. Angela was born in New Orleans to the late David A. Moynan, Sr. and Marie Cartier Moynan. She graduated from St. Matthias Grade School, McMain High School and Tulane University College of Business Administration. She raised four children in Weehawken, N.J., Park Forest, IL, Bay Village, OH, Plymouth, MI, Benton Harbor, MI, Wheaton, IL and New Orleans, LA. Then she worked 20 years for McDermott, Inc. in their International Patent Dept. as a docket clerk. She studied and collected books on Louisiana history, architecture, cooking and native plant gardening. She was a member of The Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Tulane Alumni, Jungian Society, Socioda Espanola, Prime Timers, a Mary Kay consultant and a docent at New Orleans Historical Collection.
