Maria Garcia Hartenstein passed away on February 17, 2018 at the age of 67. She was born in Manhattan, New York on October 9, 1950. She will be forever remembered by her beloved husband Joseph Hartenstein; her children Glenn Hartenstein, Michael Hartenstein, Maria Wong, Luis Hartenstein and Sara Garcia; her grandchildren Bryttani, Alexandra, Brooke, Justin, Julia, Grace, Elise, Cristina and Sara; and great - grandchildren Blakely and Lorelai. She is preceded in death by her parents Enrique and Graciana Garcia and her sister Marta Ash Garcia. Maria attended the historic Holy Cross School on Dauphine Street in New Orleans. She was the successful owner of a Jani-King commercial cleaning franchise for 30 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
