I just became aware of Margaret's death. She was my Aunt, by marriage to my Mom's brother, Bill. She and "Duke"were both a lot of fun to be around. I remember how my parents enjoyed their get togethers immensely, whenever they had the opportunity to see one another during my childhood years. Along with their children Dennis, Gary, Brad, and Cindy and my two brothers, Pat and Mike,  we were all blessed to be a part of a large extended Tippens family. My fond memories are from so long ago now, but the times we shared were meaningful to me, and it's sad to see the last of that generation go. 

To  Cindy, and all the other survivors of Margaret family, I am sorry for your loss.

I played  volleyball with Marge for many years in Harahan.  I also filled in for her at Mr. Crawford’s office on Wednesday for quite some time. She was such a close and dear friend. I am just finding of her death. It makes me so sad . It amazed me she was able to play volleyball as long as she did. We went to Baton Rouge and played in Senior Olympics together one year. I still think of her a lot and know she is still playing her best in Heaven. God Bless you ,my friend.

I met Marge about 6 years ago when I started playing volleyball.  She was always so sweet and helpful.  We became good friends and I treasure the time we spent together.  She loved her volleyball friends!  May she Rest In Peace.

I remember playing volleyball with Marge on Monday’s at the Harahan Gym. I really enjoyed being in Marge’s presence. She never acted her age. She will be missed. May she Rest In Peace.
