       My condolences on your loss of Lucille. Of late my days and nights have been mixed up,
so couldn't make it to the funeral.  Hope to see you at a happier time.

I am so sorry for the family's loss, for it is a great one. Ms. Lucille was so kind, smart, and funny. One of the interests that we shared was our love for the healthcare profession. She loved being a nurse and she was so passionate about her job. Ms. Lucille had an apartment that she called her dollhouse and she said it was just perfect. When I told her I was moving to Atlanta for school, she gave me a plethora of advice that I will remember forever. She told me to always study for my tests an hour before dinner because that is how I would remember the best. Ms. Lucille told me that every dollar makes a difference, and when I go grocery shopping, that is what I remember. She told me to listen to Jesus Christ Superstar because she always found it uplifting. Even when I left for Atlanta, she still wanted to keep in touch, and I would call her as often as I could. I still remember the time when I rang the phone and she said "Maryann, you'll never guess what happened-I was just thinking about you!" She encouraged me even when things were difficult in my studies. Ms. Lucille never hesitated to tell me when she was proud of me-from when I got my CNA license to when I passed all my classes in my first quarter of PA school. These are just some of the few memories that I have with Ms. Lucille and there are so many more that I will always carry with me. Originally, I had decided to sign up to volunteer for hospice to help better my application for PA school because LSU rejected me, but I am so glad that they did because if I had never been rejected from PA school, I would have never volunteered for hospice and I would have never met Ms. Lucille. I will never forget Ms. Lucille and I will miss her forever.

Heartfelt condolences to all the Ogden family on the passing of my dearest friend Lucille.  We shared a lifetime of laughter, tears and great fun times growing up together.  Her spirit lives on in every life she touched and in those who cared for her the past twelve years at Woldenberg.  She was the star there of kindness, patience, fortitude along with her laughter and sense of humor in the midst of great suffering.  A model for us all! I will miss her deeply.
