Louis Daniel Wise, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2015 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of 66 years to the late Anna Belle Lindenlaub Wise. Son of the late Daniel Louis Wise and Caudie Leigh Bray. Brother of the late Lawrence Wise and half brother of Michael Quigley and Leon Joseph Quigley. He is survived by his son Dr. Larry Alan Wise (Sheryl Manning Wise) and his daughter Cheryl Wise Dwyer (Michael Gerard Dwyer). Grandfather of Colleen Dwyer Egler (Scott), Shannon Dwyer Kincaid (Russell), Erin Dwyer Reed (Trevor), Daniel Manning Wise, Lauren Wise-Cali (Dennis), and Sean Michael Dwyer (Meghan). He also was a great-grandfather to 8 great-grandchildren. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He worked for Honeywell for 35 years. He resided many years in Metairie and Slidell, and has been a resident of Kenner since 2005. A private interment ceremony was held at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA.
