Louis Anthony Caruso, Sr. a retired St. Bernard Parish Firefighter passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 79. He was born on October 23, 1942, in New Orleans and was a resident of Covington, Louisiana. Louis served in the United States Air Force.
Beloved husband of 50 years to Linda Dunne Caruso. Son of the late Anthony Caruso and Louise Kissinger. Loving father of Louis Anthony Caruso, Jr. Father-in-law of Cheryl Caruso. Brother of Bernadine Caruso Lotz. Step-son of Verla Justi. Step-brother of Anthony and Terry Caruso. Grandfather of Kristen Chapman, Christopher Chapman and Audrey Caruso.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM with a Memorial Mass beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hope Mausoleum in New Orleans.
