Lois Keller Savant passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 91. She was born in Plaucheville, Louisiana, on April 19, 1932. She was a devoted homemaker who spent her life providing for her family. In her free time, she liked gardening, dancing, playing cards, sewing, and going to the casino. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Adam J. Savant; parents, Annie and Henry Keller; and sisters, Lessie Guillory and Helen McGowan.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Diana Corona (Frank); sons, Henry Savant (Joel) and Kelly Savant (Mary); grandchildren, Frank Corona III (Dianne) and Ian Savant (Heather); and great grandchildren, Alyssa Corona and Harlem Savant.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Rouquette Lodge and Forest Manor Nursing Home.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 1 PM. Visitation will begin at 11 AM. After the chapel service, Lois will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park.
