Lillian Larter Alleman, who was blessed to be 92, passed from this world to eternity with Jesus on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. She was a loving and devoted wife to Nolan, the love of her life for 61 years before he passed away in 2009. Their romance was one to admire. "Honey and Yours Forever".
She was also preceded in death by her parents Frank Larter and Eva Condo Larter and her brother Frank Larter and his wife Bertha.
She is survived by her three daughters Patricia Meyer (husband Charles), Mary Foret (husband Gerald), and Diane Delaune (husband Kenneth); her grandchildren Justin Meyer (wife Savannah), Melissa Daigle (husband Dustin), Jason Meyer, Cheyenne Green (husband George), and Kimberly Foret; step grandchildren Kenneth Delaune (wife Kristina), Jason Delaune (wife Christine). She was a great grandmother to 14 and a great great grandmother to one.
Lillian surely knew how to live life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed dancing with her wonderful husband Nolan. When out people sometimes referred to them as "Fred & Ginger". She also enjoyed bowling and sometimes tried her luck at the casino. We called her Lucky Lil.
Our mom had a kind gentle spirit, she always listened to us anytime of the day or night. She took pride in her family and always put us first. She gave the best warmest hugs. We were blessed to have a loving mother who thought the sun rose and set on us, delighted in our existence and loved us unconditionally and we surely felt the same about her.
Lillian was a devout Catholic all of her life. She loved The Lord wholeheartedly. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in Chalmette, LA. for over 50 years.
She has been a huge, loving presence in our lives and we are already missing her more than words can say.
