Laurie Peters Marshall

Laurie Peters Marshall passed away at her Metairie home on Thursday, April 30, 2015. She was 63 years old. Laurie was preceded in death by her husband Raymond A. Marshall, Jr. and her parents, Leo J. Peters, Sr. and Louise Caillier Peters. Survivors include her three children, Raymond III (Samantha), Jeffrey, and Kristen, and her beloved grandchildren, Stone and Ryder Marshall. She also leaves behind three sisters, Linda Deichmann (Dan), Leslie Armstrong (Scott), and Leigh Jeanne Strain (Gregory), and her brother, Leo Jr. (Violet), her aunts, Marion Lacoste and June Taffaro (Craig), and numerous nieces and nephews. Laurie was a life-long resident of Metairie and a graduate of Mt. Carmel Academy. She had a warm, loving heart and cared deeply for others, especially those with troubles. She had a special place in her heart for her dogs, Abbie, Cali, Zoe, Maddie and Lucy, and Jeff’s cat, Kitty.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until service time.
