Larry is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Susan Logrie Guillot; and his two sons, Fred Blanchard Guillot and Kyle Anthony Guillot; his brothers and sisters, Peggy Giangrosso (Philip), Pauline Encardes (E.J., deceased), Susan Guillot, Michael Guillot (Kelly), Terry Guillot (Heidi) and his cousin that was like a brother Warren Guillot (Nina); in-laws Denise Barnett (Neil), Vernon Logrie (Rosemary); his Uncle Carol Guillot (Thelma); and Aunt Audrey Guillot (Stanley, deceased); also fourteen nieces, eleven nephews, thirteen great neices, and fifteen great nephews who all were the light of his eye. He is also survived by a host of cousins; our chosen family, Willy Carawan and the many others that have passed through his doors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Larry J. Guillot Sr. and Carrie Lou Myers Guillot; his Uncle Stanley Guillot; his Aunt Marilyn Eberts and Uncle Gerald Eberts.
Larry was born and raised in the Irish Channel where he attended and proudly graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1969. He was very proud to be part of the Ram Nation. He was also a diehard Saints fan.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration, on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the parlor of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans.
