Kenneth H Cavanaugh

Kenneth Henry Cavanaugh passed away on Saturday, August 19 2017 at the age of 68. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 47 years, Anne Ray Cavanaugh, and two loving children, son Kenneth Cavanaugh Jr. (Deana) of Nashville, TN and daughter Kelly C. D’Antoni (Joseph) of Malvern, PA and granddaughter Carly R. Cavanaugh of Nashville, TN. Also survived by his brother William Cavanaugh III (Alyce) of Raleigh, NC and sister Karen C. Kiesel (David) of Baton Rouge, LA. Preceded in death by his father William Cavanaugh Jr. and mother Hilda M. Cavanaugh and sister Marion C. Landry. A 1967 graduate of De La Salle High School and a graduate of LSUNO, Ken served his country in the United States Navy as a radioman in the North Atlantic aboard a destroyer escort during the Vietnam War. Ken was president of Wm. Cavanaugh, Inc. office supplies and printing which was started by his father. A funeral mass will take place Friday, August 25th 2017 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. Visitation for family and friends will be at 9:30AM followed by the funeral mass at 11:00AM.
