Kathleen Ruddell Adcox Tillman

Kathleen Tillman, age 84, passed away peacefully at her home on January 1, 2024. She was born in Alexandria, LA and was a long-term resident of River Ridge, LA where she was a parishioner of St Matthew’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Tillman, Jr.; late husband Clifton Adcox; parents Vertis and Emily Ruddell; and son Stephen Adcox. Kathleen is survived by son David Adcox; stepdaughters Elizabeth Czerniak (Tom), Sallie Rainer (Tom), and Evelyn Girault (John); grandchildren Lyndsey and Dalton Adcox, Marshall, Sam, and Anne Bailey Girault, Tillman (Jennifer) and Molly Rainer, and Michael and Nicholas DeBlanc; and great-granddaughter Fallon Blakey. Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed spending time with this special group of friends. She loved fishing with Sam, but never missed her regular trips to the beauty parlor. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will take place Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 10:00 am followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Services will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124.
