Kathleen “Kerry” Bohn Maddox passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 71. She was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Richard Bohn and Constance “Connie” Bohn. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School and then had a career as a Book Keeper, Gardener and House Remodeler. Kerry was a resident of Metairie, La until the passing of her husband. She then moved to Sulphur to be with family. Kerry had the brightest smile and was forever happy. She was resident at High Hope Care Center of Sulphur for the last 10 years. She loved her grandkids, gardening, puzzles, arts and crafts, bingo and animals. She won a gold and bronze medal in the senior Olympics for Chariot Races. She was crowned High Hope’s Sweetheart. Kerry is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Bohn and Constance “Connie” Bohn; her husband of 36 years, James Alan Maddox; and her brother, Clay Bohn. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer LaMonte and Christine Hebert (Robert Hebert); her son, Donald “Donnie” Entringer; sister, Brenda Bohn; brother, Rusty Bohn; grandchildren, Abbygayle, Hebert, Drew Hebert, Issac Hebert, Zoey Hebert, Zachary Hebert, Brandon LaMonte, Bradley LaMonte, Elysse Entringer, Peyton Entringer; and eleven nieces and nephews, fifteen great nieces and nephews. The family would like to give special thanks to: High Hope Care Center of Sulphur, LA for loving on her for the last 10 years. They will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11am. Visitation will begin at 9am until the service at 11am. Inurement will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation to your local pet shelter.
