Karen Krupp Sutterfield Pearson

Karen Krupp Sutterfield Pearson, age 70 years, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2015 at her home in New Orleans. Beloved mother of James R. Sutterfield, Jr. (Lisa Weber), Dana Sutterfield, and her canine companion Pee Wee. Daughter of the late Philip J. Krupp, Jr., MD and Patricia Anderson Krupp. Niece of Iris Krupp, MD and Peggy Hebbler. Sister of Christy Miller (Rodney), Philip J. Krupp, III, and the late Robin Krupp. Aunt of Philip J. Krupp, IV, Shane Krupp, and Hailee Krupp. Also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. Karen was a graduate of Mercy Academy in New Orleans and attended LSU. She spent many years working at the District Attorney’s Office in New Orleans, then in the shipping industry and later as a medical office manager. She was a loving mother and friend and had a deep affection for animals. She will be sorely missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 3:00pm.
