Joyce was the beloved wife of the late, Jack Austin Clark. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Scruggs and Pearl Salter; and her brother, James Paul Sexton.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Austin Clark; her grandchildren, Camden Austin, Christian Adams and Gage Stephen; her sisters, Johnnie Palestina, Patricia Cain and Shirley Mixon; her brother, John Franklin Daughtry and her niece, Andrea Heingarten.
Joyce loved unconditionally and received everyone’s love in return. When she wasn’t taking care of her home and making sure it was always in immaculate condition, she enjoyed freelance modeling, marathon shopping and getting to know anyone that offered up a smile. She was truly the nicest and most outgoing woman many people have ever met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service held in the chapel at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
