Joseph Wolf passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015, age 82 years. Beloved husband of Yetta Finkelstein Wolf. Father of Sherri Willner (Richard), and Jeff Wolf (Shanna). Grandfather of Amanda Willner and Elan Wolf. Brother of Phil Wolf (Karen). Preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Pauline Wolf, and his brother Sidney Wolf.
A native of Detroit, Michigan and resident of New Orleans since 1998, Joe was a graduate of Wayne State University School of Pharmacy. He owned multiple pharmacies in Detroit and served as past President of the Metropolitan Detroit Pharmaceutical Association and was President-elect of the American Cancer Society of Wayne County, Michigan.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Graveside Service at New Beth Israel Cemetery, 4400 Elysian Fields Ave., in New Orleans, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
