Joseph F. DiMaria, age 74 and of Mandeville, Louisiana, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Irene DiMaria. He is survived by his two sons, Darrin DiMaria and David DiMaria; a sister, Carla Sloss (Michael); grandchildren, Gabriella, Gino, Joel, Donna, Dana, and Daniella; great granddaughter, Viviana; nieces, Dawn Sloss and Angela Sloss; first cousins, Donna Dichrry, Paul Dichrry, and Remi Gomila; and second cousins, Michelle Dichrry and Michael Dichrry.
The family would like to give special thanks to the following: Alvin Dupre, Sidney Dusang, Judy Saint Romain, Kristin Backes Barnhart, Richard Chauffe, Steve Faulkner, Robo Duplantis, and Ken.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00AM. The interment will follow the service in Metairie Cemetery.
