Joseph A. DiMaggio, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph A. DiMaggio, Sr. and Catherine Gallo DiMaggio; and (infant) brother Jad DiMaggio. He was survived by loving wife of 46 years, whom he met in Kindergarten, Vita O’Connor DiMaggio; children Joseph A. DiMaggio III, Stassi DiMaggio (Thomas Stuart), Toni–Ann DiMaggio; grandson Connor DiMaggio-Stuart; siblings Mary Catherine DiMaggio Oleksik and John Frank DiMaggio; and his much loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joseph retired after many years of owning and operating The Rose Garden of Jefferson. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2:00 pm St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 444 Metairie Rd, Metairie LA 70005. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow the Mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
