John Marion Yarborough, Jr. MD passed away on June 20, 2014 of complications following surgery. He was 79, a native of Pickens, MS, and a resident of New Orleans since 1953. A dermatologist in private practice and classical pianist and organist. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ann Bragg Yarborough; sister Bettye Yarborough Sullivan of Jackson; daughter Ann-Elise Yarborough Blakey (husband Raymond) of Marrero, and granddaughter Rachel Marjorie Geisz. Memorial service will be Saturday, June 28, 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Avenue Baptist Church, 7100 St. Charles Ave, pre-service music by members of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, reception to follow.
