John Thomas Sellars, age 58, passed away peacefully in his sleep November 3, 2023, at his home in Independence, La. John was born in New Orleans, La on January 22, 1965. He was the son of William “Danny” Sellars, the late Anita Nicolosi Sellars and his step mother, Janice Fulcher Sellars.
He is preceded In death by one daughter, Kristina Sellars. John is survived by his fiancé Joyce Macaluso, two children, Holly (B.J.) Pisciotti, his two grandchildren, his siblings, Steve (Kathy), Dorothy (John), and Kenneth (Antoinette), and many nieces and nephews. John enjoyed cooking and gardening. He loved spending time laughing with friends and family. He will be laid to rest at a later date alongside his loving mother in Molena, GA. A celebration of John’s life will be held Sunday November 19, 2023, from 2:00pm-6:00pm at 663 Sandy Run Rd. Greensburg, La 70041.
