John “Coach” Joseph Pecoraro, Jr., 68, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Metairie, LA. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Evelyn Hartman Pecoraro; children, Glenn Tamberella (Rhonda), John Pecoraro III (Danielle), Bridget Stieber (Steven), Troy Pecoraro; grandchildren, Alexis Tamberella, Nicholas Tamberella, Grant Tamberella, and Haylie Stieber. He is preceded in death by his parents John, Sr. and Margaret Pecoraro, as well as his son, Robert Tamberella, Jr. John had a love for horse racing, coaching sports at Lakeview Playground, and hanging out with his family. He will be missed dearly by many. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at the Harahan Lions Club, 1001 Hickory Ave, Harahan, LA 70123.
