John is survived by his beloved wife Charlotte “Cookie” Palazzo; children Gina Auslaender, Angela Palazzo, Lisa Palazzo Pacheco (George), and John W Palzzo, Jr.; step children of his late wife of 37 years, Patricia Liuzza Palazzo, Edlow J. Jones and wife Merlene R., Patricia F. Coco, Wayne A. Jones and wife Allison; eighteen grandchildren and thirty one great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his great aunt Veronica Delacroix who raised him, known to family and friends as Daisy; parents Louis and Margaret Palazzo.
John served in the United States Air Force. He was a skilled automobile mechanic and avid hunter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 2:00pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
