John Kelwood (Kel) Boudreaux passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. Father of James Blake Boudreaux (Michelle), John Brett Boudreaux (Michelle) and Melissa Lee Black (Doug). Brother of Judy (J.J.) Johns (Duke). Lifelong companion of Jay Calamia. Grandfather of Abigail Catherine Boudreaux, Matthew Blake Boudreaux, Jack Brendan Boudreaux, and Myles Evan Boudreaux. Following a successful sales career, in many instances he was awarded Top Salesman of the World, he founded Architectural Castings. His talents and love of architecture and sculpture are featured throughout New Orleans. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the compassion and care given by Canon Hospice and Home Instead.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12 noon until service time. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kel’s memory to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors.
