John, an electrician by trade, was best known for his devotion to his wife, Tina Bullinger and his mother Libby Gauthreaux Bandi and the extended Bandi/Bullinger families. Often mischievous, John's natural gift was his ability to make people laugh and to instantly feel at ease. The stories being told as a result of his passing testify to this. He loved Mardi Gras and taking selfies with as many people as he could get in view. All of us in those photos are happy we are.
John was preceded in death by his father John Albert Bandi III and his beloved dog Reba. John is survived by Tina, Libby and his brothers Stephen (Jeanea) and Charles (Lisa) Bandi, many cousins, nephews and nieces and his precious pup Ellie Mae.
Visitation is on February 15, 2022 at Lake Lawn starting at 11:00am with a service commencing at 1:00pm. Following a burial at Lake Lawn Park, the families are hosting a Celebration of John's Life at Second Line Brewing from 2pm.
