Beloved wife of Louis Frost for 52 years.

Mother of Tiffany F. Landreneau (Kenny).

Grandmother of John “Jay” Michon IV and Jessica Michon.

Sister of Gary Herbert (Karen) and Dr. Virginia McDougall.

Aunt of Lauren (Stephen), Brett (Shannon), Jonathan, and Sarah.

She is also survived by great nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.

JoAnn was born in New Orleans to Joseph Herbert and Estelle Duke Herbert. She was a graduate of Alcee Fortier High School Class of 1963. She served as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Elks Lodge #30 and the Women’s Guild of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ. She worked for Volunteers of America for over ten years.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park.
