Jennifer "Jenny" Lynn Savoie

Jennifer “Jenny” Lynn Savoie passed away from a heart attack at her home in Metairie on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the age of 46. She was the beloved daughter of JoAnn “Jody” Reeder and John “Ed” Reeder; loving sister of Deborah Savoie, Scott F. Dillard, and the late Paul E. Reeder; and aunt of Rebecca Canady. She is also survived by her great aunt, Jean Hecker; aunt, Janet Stein (Alan); uncles, Robert F. Hecker (the late Richelle) and John P. Hecker (Mary); and numerous cousins and friends.

Jennifer was born and raised in New Orleans. She graduated in 1989 from St. Charles Catholic, and received her Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences from Delgado Community College. Jennifer began her career at Children’s Hospital in 2009, where she worked as a unit clerk in various departments, and worked as a secretary in the Physical Therapy office. In 2016, Children’s Hospital recognized her as a “top five” employee of the year. She was a parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3310 Jefferson Hwy. in Jefferson, on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the church beginning at 11:00AM. Interment will be private.
