Jeanne Landry Favret Murray passed away peacefully on July 5, 2017 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Gordon John Murray, Jr. Also preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd Francis Favret and her parents, George Pratt Landry, Sr. and Jeanne Develle Landry. Mother of Jeanne Favret Bourg (James) and Mary-Lisa Favret Roche (John). Step-mother of Bridget Murray Van Dalen (Robert) and Gordon Murray, III. Sister of Yvonne Landry Gamotis and George Pratt Landry, Jr. Grandmother of Jason Bourg, Jonathan Bourg, Jameson Bourg, Christopher Roche, and Katelyn Roche Gosslee. Step-grandmother to Robert Van Dalen, Jr., Jennifer Van Dalen Calderone, Michael Van Dalen, and Rachel Murray. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends. She is no longer in our lives to share but will forever be in our hearts. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation on Monday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124.
