Jeanne Marie Lemarie Kennedy

Jeanne Lemarie Kennedy, age 37, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2021 after a brave battle with cancer. She is survived by her children, Ethan and Harrison Kennedy; mother, Lesley Marino Lemarie (Steven Scalise); father, Paul Lemarie; sister, Lisette Lemarie Hatamian (Bijan Hatamian); half-brother, Jacob Lemarie; her maternal grandmother, Marilyn Martin Marino (Mimi); her nephew, Leo Hatamian, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Belle Larose Lemarie; paternal grandfather, Sidney Louis Lemarie; and maternal grandfather, Joseph Michael Marino.

She attended St. Pius X Catholic School, Mount Carmel Academy, and New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. She advanced her education at Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute of New Orleans but ultimately found her calling at Southern Oral Surgery as an oral surgery assistant. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two sons, Ethan and Harrison. Her sources of strength and courage through her cancer journey were her sons and her faith in Christ.
