Jean Latimer Reeves

Jean Latimer Reeves passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the young age of 66. She was an avid New Orleans Saints fan, reader, and cat lover who never met a stranger. She recently retired as a Platinum Consultant at SAP where she traveled the country making many friends who she continued contact with over the years. She is the daughter of the late Roy and Erminie Latimer. She is survived by her 2 children, Jennifer Reeves and Spencer Reeves, her 4 grandchildren, Lacey Reeves, Rachel Tracy, Dylan Reeves, and Marissa Buntin, her 1 great grandchild Sophia Smith, and older sister, Gay Latimer Young. She also had many special cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Heartfelt thanks are sent out to the wonderful nurses and aides of Hospice Compassus who made her last days comfortable. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on April 29, 2010 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, which will be followed by a short memorial service. It will be held at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. After the service, a “Celebration of Life” will be held at a family member’s home to be announced at the service. A Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
