Janet Elise Boisfontaine, wife of William Sutcliffe Renaudin, M.D. for almost 50 years and most recently to Lloyd Wright, passed away on November 1, 2015. Janet went to Louise S. McGehee School and graduated from Newcomb College. She was a devoted wife and mother who enthusiastically supported many charitable causes. Janet was an active member of the Womens’ Guild of the New Orleans Opera. Additionally, she served in leadership positions for the Institute for Human Understanding, Friends of City Park and the Eye Bank. She is survived by three children: Elise Renaudin Vincent (R. Douglas), William S. Renaudin, Jr. (Amy) and George Renaudin II (Louise). She is also survived by grandchildren including: Melissa Brotemarkle (Keith), Christopher Vincent, Marie Renaudin, George Renaudin, and two step-grandchildren, Michael Greer and Isis Greer. A memorial service will be held at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 2216 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA 70005 on Thursday, November 5 at 2 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
