Janet Gensburger Cohen passed away on March 18, 2021. She was born on January 31, 1937 in New Orleans and graduated from Fortier High School. She spent the majority of her life as a Domestic Goddess. Janet loved cooking, gardening and taking care of her house.
Wife of 59 years to Rubin Cohen, daughter of the late Elaine and Jacob Gensburger, mother of Stephen and Brian (Simone), sister of Linda Brandt (Robert) and Ellis Gensburger, grandmother of Olivia Lane Cohen and Blake Jacob Cohen.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Janet on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 11am at Hebrew Rest #3 in New Orleans, LA. The service will be officiated by Rabbi David Gerber.
