James Dignam Grady

James Dignam Grady, age 58 years, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. He was born in New Orleans, LA on August 6, 1957 to the late Alfred Earl Grady and Alice Dignam Grady. He was a 1975 graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans. He completed his undergraduate studies at Tulane University and earned a Master’s Degree from Pepperdine University. He was a retired Civil Servant from the US Federal Government. He was a parishioner of St. Luke Catholic Church in Slidell, LA. Beloved husband of Colleen Crowell Grady for the past 34 years. Loving father of Matthew James Grady, Andrew Robert Grady, Christian Alfred Grady, and the late James Dignam Grady, Jr. Grandfather of Addison Elizabeth Grady. Brother of William Hughes Grady. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will begin in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
