He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Helen Weigand de Boisblanc; his brother, John Wayne de Boisblanc; and his sisters-in-law, Rebecca de Boisblanc and Elizabeth de Boisblanc (Liz).
Jacques is survived by his brothers, Donald de Boisblanc, Sr., and Rene de Boisblanc; his nephews, Donald de Boisblanc, Jr., Charles de Boisblanc, and Pierre de Boisblanc; his nieces, Laura Helen Bruneau, Amy de Boisblanc, and Lisette Bertrand; and numerous great nephews and nieces.
Jacques was born and raised in New Orleans. In 1963, he graduated from De La Salle High School. He continued his education at LSU, where he studied mechanical engineering and received his MBA from Tulane University. Jacques owned and operated The Clinic on Poydras Street for over 40 years.
He was a lifelong parishioner and a daily communicant at St. Dominic Catholic Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and marksman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 10:00AM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 9:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass in Metairie Cemetery.
